Benitses

Benitses village is located 14 Km south of Corfu town and it has a population of 800 inhabitants. This village used to be a fishing village but in our days very few are living from fishing. Now Benitses has become a full touristic village. You can find a variety of cafι, taverns, restaurants, hotels e.t.c.

Except from the small sandy beautiful beaches you can visit the shell museum which has the best collection of shells in Europe. Also there you can find and some other exhibits like shark jaws, various fishes and some of them are very rarely to see.
